Government of India is promoting organic farming through the dedicated scheme called Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCD-NER) under National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA) since 2015-16. As per MOVCD-NER guidelines, the State Lead Agency Mission Organic Mizoram (MOM) was formed on 29th February, 2016. (Source - MOM Website) MOM and MOM website are active as of May 2023.
The details of operation flow of the Mission are unclear.

The website has a Product section where the buyers can order Bulk Products like Turmeric and Ginger and Retail Products (value-added) like soaps, turmeric powder, tea, pickles, chilli powder, black pepper etc. These products are also available on the MOM App.
The MOM website's News section mentions formation and organic certification of FPOs, establishment of processing units for different crops, trainings of FPC CEOs on topics like Product Development, Business Plan/Market Linkage, PFMS applications, and Accounting, etc.
