Sikkim Organic Mission was launched in 2010 with a target to convert the entire state into Organic by 2015. (Edited from SIKKIM ORGANIC MISSION: Policy Vision and Mission document. In January 2016, Prime Minister of India declared Sikkim as the first fully organic state in India. The current (2023) status of the Mission or State support for organic farming is not readily available.
